Our commitment to customers

Warranty

Warranty returns

Sports World Canberra will endeavour to process warranty claims within a reasonable time under Australian Consumer Law. You may seek a refund, exchange, or credit if an item has a manufacturer’s fault — for example when the item:

  • Does not fit the description
  • Develops a major fault during its warranty period
  • Is not fit for purpose
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the description or sample
How warranty claims work
  1. Bring the claim to a Sports World Canberra store, or email sportsworldcanberra@gmail.com for online purchases.
  2. Include proof of purchase. If the sale was under your customer details, staff may be able to look up your records if the receipt was lost.
  3. Once we receive the claim and inspect the product (or an image of the fault), we will email you to confirm we have received it.
  4. Each claim is assessed individually. We will notify you when a decision is made.
  5. If approved, a refund or store credit will be processed. Online refunds go back to the original payment method.
  6. If you have not received a refund or update, email sportsworldcanberra@gmail.com.
